Felt the need to ride so I went for a mid-day spin around the Ravensdale loop. I left from my house in Maple Valley and headed out. I reversed the route that I normally do! It was VERY VERY HOT and there was alot of head and side winds. Man they hit me hard but just a better workout I guess!

HOT HOT HOT still. We decided to reverse our route to keep us pre-occupied and focused on the run and not the heat even at that it was hard. We did have to stop once at the Cheveron Mini Mart to refill out bottles with ice water! YESSS!
Got back and finished out the night with a little core training in the little grassy area in front of Kent Station theater!

Couldn’t waste the sunshine and despite having ran 12 miles earlier, Sarah & I decided to go on our first “official” STP training ride with Rahul. Headed out from my house towards Ravensdale and took the back way to Enumclaw. Refilled out water bottles at the McDonalds and headed back. Starving we decided to treat our city slicker teammate to the lovely City Hall Saloon in Cumberland. Dinner and brews before we headed back out to finish our ride! F-U-N!

It was hot early! Went for a nice slow steady run on the Orting trail with Sarah & April. I was running on three hours of sleep from the night before but I felt great anyways! funny how that works sometimes!

Too nice to be inside and I haven’t riden since the Mt. Rainier duathlon. Need to get some time in! Good hillwork session and felt strong!
